Jon Kuhl Joins Civitas As Senior Associate

Washington, DC – Civitas Public Affairs Group announced today that Jon Kuhl is joining the firm as a senior associate. Jon was most recently vice president of public policy at Credit Suisse where he served as a strategist for the bank’s legislative, regulatory, and reputational priorities in North America and helped manage the bank’s political action committee. Jon will join the firm’s Washington, DC office.

“Jon is a proven leader in communications and the financial and political sectors,” said Patrick Guerriero, founding partner of Civitas Public Affairs Group. “Jon has a track record of achieving real results on complex issues at the state and federal level. We are thrilled to have him on the Civitas team.”

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Jon served as director of public affairs for the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), a bipartisan organization representing the nation’s state legislators and legislative staffers. Jon worked frequently with local and national journalists and has appeared on MSNBC and NPR’s All Things Considered. Jon also regularly conducted media trainings for state lawmakers and their staffs.

Jon earned a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
