Joseph Arroyo joins Civitas as senior associate in NYC office

NEW YORK — Civitas Public Affairs Group announced today a new addition to its staff. Joseph Arroyo, formerly Associate Director of Local Government Affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety, has joined the firm as a Senior Associate based in the Civitas New York City office. Joseph will be working with a variety of Civitas’ clients and leading on project management.

Joseph brings a strong background working within the campaign and nonprofit space to Civitas. Prior to his time at Everytown for Gun Safety, Joseph worked on the Bloomberg presidential campaign as the National Director for LGBTQ+ Outreach. He has previously held positions as a Field Director at Equality California and at Houston Unites, as well as Deputy Field Director for Mainers United.
