Rubab Hassan Joins Civitas As Senior Associate In NYC Office

NEW YORK — Civitas Public Affairs Group announced today that Rubab Hassan, former Client Communications Specialist at Women’s World Banking and Senior Associate at High Lantern Group, is joining the firm’s New York office as a Senior Associate.

Rubab’s career has spanned strategic communications, international policy, and public affairs. In recent years, she has launched advocacy campaigns and public-private initiatives for client partners in the health care, financial services, and technology industries. During her time at High Lantern Group, Rubab developed and led campaigns around mental health, health disparities, and digital innovation. She is passionate about building equitable partnerships and creating ecosystems that foster racial and gender justice.

Prior to joining High Lantern Group, Rubab served as a Program Associate for Eisenhower Fellowships, where she designed programs for global fellows and facilitated trainings and workshops to advance social impact initiatives.

International and intersectional engagement has been at the core of Rubab’s career. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship by the Turkish Fulbright Commission. During her time in Turkey,  she taught English as a second language and designed curriculum to help students learn and develop their language skills.

Rubab holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Middle Eastern Studies from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics. She lives in New Jersey and is fluent in Urdu.
