CALEB QUEEN
SENIOR DIRECTOR

Caleb brings a wide range of experience from both the public and private sectors and has a strong background working with state government agencies.

In his time with Civitas, Caleb has helped develop and lead grassroots organizing efforts to engage elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels in social media and advocacy campaigns. He has also provided content development and key logistical support to fundraising and advocacy events for our clients ranging from targeted grasstops donor summits to large-scale volunteer conferences.

Caleb began his career in Boston as a project associate for Nuka Research & Planning Group where he helped design state-level emergency response plans, aided in the development of critical research, data analysis, and compilation of several major environmental and energy sector projects. These include the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System regulation of oil production permits and the Alaska Risk Assessment of Crude Oil & Gas Infrastructure.

Caleb earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and honed his research and development skills working on a Carbon Reduction program while in Cambridge, England.

A native of Fairview, North Carolina, Caleb resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his husband and their two Labrador Retrievers.
