Caleb Queen, a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience, brings a unique blend of public and private sector expertise to his role as Senior Director of Operations and Finance at Civitas. His background in state government agencies, coupled with his strategic financial management and operational leadership skills, has been instrumental in driving Civitas's growth and success. Caleb's diverse portfolio includes overseeing financial operations, implementing efficiency initiatives, as well as providing crucial support to our clients and the management team.

Throughout his tenure at Civitas, Caleb has supported our clients through leading grassroots organizing efforts, developing content for advocacy campaigns, and managing key fundraising events. Caleb's expertise extends to advising donors on philanthropic and political giving.

Caleb has also spearheaded numerous high-impact projects that have transformed the organization's operational landscape, including orchestrating a comprehensive firm-wide rebranding and successfully migrating the organization to cloud-based systems, as well as overseeing multiple office relocations and renovations.

Prior to joining Civitas, Caleb began his career as a project associate at Nuka Research & Planning Group in Boston, where he contributed to major environmental and energy sector projects. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in environmental science, Caleb now resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his husband and their two Labrador Retrievers.
